Interested in becoming a Trustee of National Eczema Society?

Are you passionate about making life better for people with eczema? Do you have the skills to shape the future direction of National Eczema Society?

We want to appoint several new Trustees to refresh and build the collective skills of our Board of Trustees. Trustees have a pivotal role at National Eczema Society, driving our commitment to supporting the many people and families in the UK affected by eczema. Our Trustees set the charity’s strategic direction and make sure we focus on the biggest challenges and opportunities in eczema.

You can find out more about this exciting opportunity in the Trustee Role Description. You would join a Board, currently consisting of eight Trustees, who are committed to making a difference and building a strong and effective organisation for the future.

The Trustee role is voluntary and you would be asked to attend four Trustee meetings a year, plus the AGM. Meetings are usually held in London, with virtual attendance via Zoom if preferred.

As part of our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, we want to strengthen the Board to better reflect the diversity of the people and communities we serve. We actively encourage people to apply who will bring different backgrounds, perspectives and lived experience, as well as a range of skills. We welcome applications from people from all sections of the community, irrespective of ethnicity, age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, religion or belief.

If you are interested joining us as a Trustee, please complete the Trustee Application Form. This helps us assess your suitability for the role.

The deadline for applications is 30 September 2021 and new Trustees would be expected to join the Board in December 2021.
