Congratulations to our three runners on the 18 May this year!
Take a bow (or more likely a comfy chair!) our three brave participants in the Great Manchester Run in 2025. NES supporters Andy Palin, Faye Dugdale and George Masom all met their fundraising targets and collectively raised over a thousand pounds for our charity.

If you want to feel as good as our runners above, why not take on the Great Manchester Run on 31 May 2026 to support the National Eczema Society? With a 10K or a half marathon distance to choose from, tens of thousands of runners take to the streets of Manchester to take on the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run challenge each year. And being Manchester, it’s a great vibe from start to finish, with a high-energy soundtrack, live music and entertainment zones at every turn – plus, some of the loudest and most enthusiastic local support we’ve seen anywhere in the UK.

National Eczema Society has charity places available for the Great Manchester Run 2026. We ask runners who accept a place through us to commit to raising at least £300 for the Society, and hopefully much more! This can be raised through sponsorship and other fundraising activities. This amount covers the cost of your place plus an administration fee to Great Manchester Run organisers, as well as our administration costs and the supply of a running vest.
We are hugely grateful to our runners for raising as much as they can, and for raising awareness of eczema among their family, friends, colleagues and community.
Do contact us at fundraising@eczema.org if you have any questions or want more information. Thank you for considering supporting our charity! National Eczema Society relies on voluntary donations to fund our work.
