National Eczema Society is operated and managed by a small staff team, which includes experienced dermatology nurse specialists. Andrew Proctor is the charity’s Chief Executive.
The Society’s strategic direction is set by our Council of Trustees, who all volunteer their time to ensure we achieve our charitable objectives and uphold the charity’s values. We are currently looking to appoint several new Trustees of the National Eczema Society. We are interested in hearing from people who are passionate about making life better for people with eczema and can bring their professional skills and personal experience of eczema. See here for more information.
Our planned Medical Advisory Board, will be made up of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, clinical psychologists and other healthcare professionals. This group will be crucial in ensuring the Society reflects the latest research and medical guidelines in our eczema information and advice.
Alongside our staff, Trustees and Medical Advisory Board, the Society benefits hugely from the engagement and support of members and volunteers who fundraise, campaign, raise awareness and share their lived experience on the Society’s behalf. We also rely heavily on healthcare professionals who give their time so selflessly to help the Society achieve its goal of making life better for people affected by eczema. We are so grateful to everyone who supports us in so many ways – we couldn’t do without you!
