Great South Run 2025 (10 miles)

19 October 2025

If you have applied, thank you. If you haven’t there is still time. It’s the South coast’s biggest running event and there is always a great atmosphere in Portsmouth. We now have less than ten charity places to fill so do follow the link to apply for one of those.

The Great South Run is an annual 10-mile (16km) running race, which takes place in Portsmouth each October. With inspiring naval history, salty air and glorious sea views guaranteed!

If you can’t take part this year, National Eczema Society will be providing places in the Great South Run 2026. We ask runners who accept a place through us to commit to raising at least £300 for the Society, and hopefully much more! This can be raised through sponsorship and other fundraising activities. This amount covers the cost of your place plus an administration fee to Great South Run, as well as our administration costs and the supply of a running vest.

We are hugely grateful to our runners for raising as much as they can, and for raising awareness of eczema among their family, friends, colleagues and community. Do contact us at fundraising@eczema.org if you have any questions or want more information. Thank you for considering supporting our charity. National Eczema Society relies on voluntary donations to fund our work. If you want to support runners, there is more detailed event information at The Great South Run.
