This National Eczema Week, we’re encouraging the eczema community to speak about their experiences of living with eczema. Join us, and together, Let’s Start the Conversation.
Living with eczema is more than just managing skin flare-ups and applying emollients; it can significantly impact mental health and overall well-being.
All too often, members of our community manage their eczema privately, don’t receive adequate support and can be left struggling with their mental health.
That’s why we’re encouraging supportive conversations, at school, in the workplace and at home. It’s incredibly important to talk about how we’re feeling, support one another, and remind those living with eczema that support is always available.
Let’s start the conversation, at school, at work and at home. Whether for yourself, a colleague or the benefit of a loved one, it’s incredibly important to take the time to reflect on how you’re feeling and discuss this with someone you feel comfortable speaking with.
Perhaps you’re looking to make your classroom or workspace more inclusive? Or you realise you haven’t checked in with a loved one living with eczema recently. Help start the conversation, offer support and implement changes to make life easier for those living with eczema.
We’ve created a conversation guideline to help discuss your student, colleague or loved ones eczema.
